The first website i made for an artist
Iworked with David Weeks, an artist who blends classical techniques with street art. He wanted his website to capture his belief that art is for everyone.
His initial pitch was to make users sign a digital guestbook to gain access, just like a physical gallery opening. I knew a hard gate would hurt UX and drop engagement, so we pivoted. Instead, I made it so users can draw or tag right on the page, and their sketches integrate into the background as they scroll. Being one of my first clients, figuring out how to translate his vision into a working, user-friendly interface without losing the interactive element was a huge win.

My first client
outside of New york
Ibuilt this site for Jay's Painting, an LA-based contractor that has been operating since 1985. The clients were older and heavily involved in the project, so it was a very hands-on collaboration.Because they were an older company, the main challenge was modernizing their digital footprint.
I wanted to design a site that felt fresh, fast, and up-to-date, without losing the credibility of a business that’s been trusted. I focused on a clean layout that naturally funnels users straight to getting a quote, whether they need a residential touch-up or a massive commercial job. It was awesome figuring out how to balance an older client's very specific vision with modern web design standards to help them reach a newer audience.

Navigating their feedback while pushing for a clean, modern aesthetic really sharpened my ability to bridge the gap between traditional business owners and modern web design.
Ramen Ishida
Ibuilt this site for Ramen Ishida, an authentic Tokyo-style ramen shop in New York. The chef has over 15 years of industry experience and is on a mission to showcase the depth and flavor of clear broths.
For the design, I focused on an intimate, visually striking layout that brings the warmth and texture of the kitchen straight to the screen. By structuring the menu and reservation system cleanly, the site strips away unnecessary digital clutter and helps drive foot traffic right to their Ludlow Street location. Translating the vibe of a cozy, high-quality local restaurant into a sleek Webflow experience is always a rewarding challenge.

This was the exact project that gave me the push I needed to start doing cold opens to find more clients around the city
